MEMBERSHIP TYPES

A. Institutional Membership: any student of an African descent student organization recognized by a college or university in the state of Florida that adheres to the constitution and bylaws of FAASA. Said organization must be registered through the payment of annual membership dues to FAASA.

 

B. Associate Membership: any student interest organization that supports the goals and objectives and adheres to the constitution and bylaws of FAASA, and has registered through the payment of annual membership dues to FAASA.

 

C. Alumni Membership: any person who has received a degree from a college or university, support the goals and objectives and adheres to the bylaws of FAASA, and has registered through the payment of annual membership dues to FAASA.

 

D. Affiliate Membership: any person or community organization not meeting the criteria for membership in categories one, two or three, but supports the goals and objectives of FAASA, and adheres to the Constitution and Bylaws, and was registered through the payment of annual dues to FAASA.

 

E. Honorary Membership: any person who supports the goals and objectives in accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of FAASA, and is so designated by the Board of Directors.

 

F. Corporate Membership: any company that supports the goals and objectives of FAASA and adheres to the Constitution and Bylaws, and is registered through the payment of annual membership dues to FAASA.
